If you seek solar panel bird proofing services, call 0800 206 2679.
Eliminate Limited has completed a huge amount of solar panel protection throughout Scotland and recently expanded this service to Northern England.
Stopping pigeons from going under solar panels by using solar panel bird mesh keeps us busy and bookings are only restricted by weather and the availability of climbers. As there is no need for additional access equipment, appointments are flexible which is a huge advantage given the unpredictable nature of UK weather.
Solar panel proofing is in high demand to stop squirrels and pigeons from making a nuisance of themselves.  Many customers repeatedly recommend us to new clients, due to the thorough and neat work that Eliminate provides.  Solar panel proofing is one of the busiest parts of our proofing team’s work, leading to many call-outs for solar panel proofing throughout Scotland and Northern England.
Whether in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool or Hamilton, Blackpool or Warrington, the Eliminate bird proofing team is here to help.
All materials used on site are specific to the job on hand and made from the best components on the market. We can use wire bird-proofing solar panel mesh clips that attach themselves to the perimeter of the panels, so no damage is done to the panel itself.
Types of Pigeons that can be controlled
There are five species of Pigeon residing within the UK, although two are pretty rare.
Feral Pigeon (Columba Livia Domestic) – Feral Pigeons can come with various shades on their coat, ranging from light blue and green, some shades grey and others a darker colour. You can also find dull brick red pigeons and cinnamon brown. You can also spot white pigeons in the UK. They are also known as town pigeons, street pigeons or city pigeons.
Collared Dove (Streptopelia Decaocto) – Found mainly in farmland or woodland, the collared dove is smaller than a regular feral pigeon. It can also be a garden bird whose species spreads across two continents.
Stock Dove (Columba Oenas) – A part of the pigeon family that can sometimes nest in holes in trees and in farm buildings. It can be commonly found around woodland areas and parkland areas.
Turtle Dove (Streptopelia turtur) – The famous member of the Columbidae family of Doves and pigeons is quite rare in the UK, although it has been spotted in southern parts of the country and far north as Wales.
Rock Dove (Columba livia) – These are a more pure breed of feral pigeon that usually live on the coast of North West Scotland and Northern Ireland. They generally nest on cliffs, so they do not pose a threat as a pest, although they can find their way inland to nest on your property.
